A good quality string that seem to take a few days to settle in.
Poor point: the basses do seem to tarnish very quickly which makes the guitar look tatty in next to no time.
Hannabach strings seem quite 'high' for any given tension although there seems to be no industry standard for tension descriptors. 'Medium' should be OK on my guitar - in theory - but I need Low Tension Hannabach strings to get anywhere near correct intonation. This sort of problem is compounded by guitar makers (more so the top makers) making the bridge saddle to narrow and therefore creating a guitar that becomes 'string specific' which is great, till that string becomes unavailable. 2mm - 2.3mm is much too narrow: 2.5 - 3mm would make life more bearable.
