Thomastik Series

Plectrum Acoustic Series are soft sounding strings for acoustic guitar with low tension on the bottom end. The plain strings are made of brass coated steel, the wound strings have a silk inlay in combination with a highly flexible steel core. A, D, G strings are polished bronze flatwound, Bass-E is polished bronze roundwound.

Ik vind dit een hele 'speciale' snaar! In de 011 set zijn de A,D,G flatwound (vind ze iets te dun qua dikte, jammer!), in de 012 set is alleen de G snaar flatwound. De 012set lijkt heel dik maar voelt niet zo, qua spel. Heel goed voor 'open tunings'! Ze zijn heel soepel, vol van toon met veel sustain. Als je van heel heldere snaren houd is dit niet jouw snaar, neem dan de Spectrum! Goed voor electro akoestische gitaren en of 12fret (triple O) gitaren!
Grandioze fingerpicking snaar. Ronde, warme en dynamische toon met weinig fingernoise, doordat ze deels flatwound en/of gepolijst zijn. Niet zeer luid, maar wel 'af'.
